ENGINE/POWER/PROPULSION
Lloyd’s A-1 any weather ocean crossing rated steel ship certification American Flagged, US Coast Guard documented vessel with an Iveco 6 cylinder continuous rated 24 vdc, 180 Hp N67MNTM28 Class D mated to a Twin Disc TM 170 transmission, preheat start option installed.

Engine oil analysis records available since inception.

Safire 3200 BTU forced air diesel heating system with separate fuel tank powered by a separate 24>12 VDC Victron power supply.
Large Frame 24-volt 120 amp alternator in addition to 24 VDC 50 amp engine mounted alternator.

Multiple options available to keep engine and house bank fully charged when underway.

House bank is 24 vdc 1250 amp-hour 2.2 vdc x 12 traction cell lead-acid battery bank with Victron battery monitor. (Typical battery type as used on advanced diesel submarines.)

Engine start bank is two x 8D equivalent batteries.

50mm electrically isolated stainless-steel prop shaft with rope cutter, bronze prop, oversized rudder.

Dry Powder automatic overhead Engine Room fire extinguisher. Dry powder and Gas portable fire extinguishers throughout. All are up-to-date.

There is a saltwater wash-down spigot at the anchor and one on the boat deck.

22 zincs welded to the hull. All are replaced during every 3 year haul-out.
